Last 25th March 2021, we won the EmprendedorXXI Awards in Catalonia, promoted by CaixaBank, through DayOne
: its specialized division for technology and innovation companies and their investors, and co-sponsored by ENISA.

In Catalonia, the organization of the EmprendedorXXI Awards is supported by ACCIÓ, the agency for business competitiveness of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Barcelona Activa, the economic development agency of the Barcelona City Council,
and Barcelona Tech City, a private non-profit association representing more than 1,000 digital and technology companies in Barcelona.

The award includes an economic endowment, access to an international training program organized by ESADE in collaboration with experts from Silicon Valley and specialized mentoring.

In spite of the exceptional situation we are living through due to COVID-19, CaixaBank and ENISA continue to promote and support entrepreneurial activity, as well as recognizing the important work they carry out. On this occasion,
the award ceremony was held telematically, in a session in which participated Carlos Gramunt, commercial director of CaixaBank’s Companies in the Barcelona Territory; Imma Puig, director of CaixaBank’s business segment in the Catalonia
Territory, and José Bayón, CEO of ENISA, among other speakers. The awards ceremony took place within the framework of the DayOne Innovation Summit ViveXXI, where there were conferences related to digitalization, new business models
and the reactivation of the hotel, restaurant, tourism and leisure sector.

In this edition, 15 companies participated in Catalonia. The finalists have also been present in this telematic delivery and have presented their projects.

In this edition, in which a total of 955 companies from Spain and Portugal have participated, 19 awards will be given at territorial level to start-ups with the greatest impact on their territory: 17 in Spain (one per autonomous community)
and 2 in Portugal (north-central zone and Lisbon-south and Islands).

The call also has the support and collaboration of international entities such as the Embassy of Israel in Spain or the Agência Nacional da Inovaçao de Portugal.
